Bye 2010 :( Today is the last day of 2010. Omgosh :O Tomorrow will be 2011. Ah, how time flies by. I am surely not looking forward to 2011. Christmas is over? Damn

Christmas is over? Damn. I hate it. NO, not Christmas, Christmas is AWESOME. I hate the fact that Christmas is over. And I hate the fact that school is after christmas. I also hate the fact that I am gonna sit for my PMR next year. Curses thee ye public examinations. Yes, i almost forgot what I'm gonna say. Okay, on Christmas morning I went to Saint Faith's for Christmas day service and the preacher told us that christmas is actually a pagan celebration being Christianized. This means that no one knows when exactly Jesus was born. That means everyday could be Christmas. Ya hear that? EVERYDAY. This is real good news for me. That means I can celebrate Christmas everyday and put up my tree for the whole year. WeeHaa :D

HI, nothing much to say today. Just a quick post again. Haven't got the time yet to do a full post. Maybe tomorrow :) (Hopefully) I just came back from kampung, thats why I'm rarely online. The only access to internet is my aunt's 3G modem and its frikin' slow. Much slower than the 4mbps that I have at home. Haha. So maybe in the next few days I'll be changing the blog layouts since Christmas is over. And yes, no Christmas photos this year cause I didn't take any photos. All the copies are in my aunt's laptop and I forgot to copy it. Silly me ^^

Merry Christmas

Yes, i think its a little too late. Sorry i cnt write much for this post 2day bc im onlining using my fone. It costs rm3 but hey, its worth it. Im bored. Btw, merry christmas everybody. Its still not too late, its still late christmas day in the states. So today imma just tell u abt my day. Christmas eve we went to the spring, sarawaks premier shopping mall. Haha. We went to see the fireworks display and it was awesome! The display was like whoa. We slept at around 1am. Then we have to wake up early to go to church; yes we are good boys and girls. :D Then after service we went visiting to my dads uncle house. Lemme tell u, it was huge! They even have their own pool. After that we went to a billion of other houses. It was fun in the sun untill it startd to rain. I was so full i forgot to eat my dinner. Then i helped my mum in the kitchen making laksa. Yada yada, slept, woke up, the usual. Then, it was open house from 10 till nw. Then i got so bored i did the most 'credit-saving' to do: onlining with my phone. Luckily digi charges only rm3 for unlimited usage.

Have you ever been blogwalking in the middle of the night, where things are peaceful and quiet, suddenly you open someone's blog and BAM BOOM the music starts to play and that scared the living daylights out of you? That happened to me once and I think I peed a little. HAHA. Fear not people, because I have set the default volume to only 50%. If thats still too loud, just turn down the speakers, duh. Wheres the play button? Pause? Next track? Song list? Here's a simple guide.

That is the main interface. It opens automatically when viewers open the blog and it autoplays. Oh Santa is the first track. The default volume is set to 50%; no BOOM scaring the living daylight out of viewers over here.

To pause, click the pause button. Next track, press the button to the right of the pause button. Previous, the left side. Thats pretty simple.

I don't know what to put as the post title so I just put that. TeeHee is an expression made famous by Ryan Higa, a comedian on youtube.  Meaning: Act of joyful giggling.


Actually that is NOT what I'm gonna blog today. Maybe next time but not today. On my birthday last July, my dad bought me a guitar. "Cool! A guitar?" you ask. I was like "Okay, this is cool" but there's one teeny tiny little problem. I DONT KNOW HOW TO PLAY GUITAR. Yeah, that's the whole point of buying it right? So that you can learn. That's what I thought. So the next day I went to MPH bookstore to buy myself a "How To Play Guitar" book. Heres what happened:


Me: Yay, I'm earning how play a new instrument !*opens book*

... 1000 seconds later...

Me: This is hard ><. Maybe if I practice I'll be good at it. 

...the next day...

Me: *practicing till fingers look like french fries*

...the day after that...

Me: @.@ *gives up hope for now*

Hey, I'm not a quitter okay! In my defense, learning guitar is a LOT harder than piano. A LOT. Sometimes I'm amazed at how those other kids just simply 'pick up' a guitar and learn how to play. I salute you guys man.  Why say guitar is harder than piano? First, I'm left-handed. So there is a kind of learning difficulty there. But there are lefties that are really good at guitars Justin Bieber. They are famous too Justin Bieber. They make lots of $ too Justin Bieber. Second, in piano, the sheet music is fairly simple. It shows what note to play and how long do you play it. No memorizing anything (well just the chords, what notes has sharp or flat notes). If the sheets ask you to play E, you play E. Thats it. Guitar on the other hand has chords. E major, C major to name a few. And those triads stuff. And strumming techniques. Thats too much to remember man.

Okay to be honest I'm not a maestro at piano. I just play it. I didn't go to piano lessons. My sister does. I have a piano at home. Not trying to play it is just like buying first class tickets to Seoul and not use it. Its just stupid. (ironic huh?)


Maybe I'll just start playing guitar next year or something. In the meantime, my 6-stringed piece of acoustic musical instrument would just stay in my room and collect dust. Heck, it still has a ribbon on it! HAHA

How My Day Went Today

Hello people of planet Earth. I know this may sound boring to you but I just wanna share how my day went today. As you know, today is payday. So that means shopping. Christmas shopping to be exact. I woke up this morning at around 9. Then I played Cityville(without even brushing my teeth lol). Then my dad came in and told me to get ready coz we're goin somewhere. So I got dressed and we went out. That time I didn't know we were going shopping. First stop is "The Largest BATA Store in Kuching". How big it is you ask? For starters, my house is bigger than that BATA Store. Then we went to eTiQa office@ Jln. Tun Ahmad Zaidi Adruce because my dad has work to do there. Well only my dad went in. We his children stayed in the car. Did I mention that the car engine is still running? So much for being green. Speaking of green, I saw a Toyota Prius there and it was beautiful! and green too. 1 point goes to Prius. When i grow up, I want to buy a Murano AND a Prius!

Enough of that. Okay, so after there we went to Penrissen Point to buy our school uniforms. There I reloaded my DiGi for RM10 but it didn't came in. That means bye-bye RM10. I should have spent it on ice cream or something. Curses you card-less reload system and that handphone store lady. Few hours later we had lunch and round 2 of shoe shopping. This time at a different BATA store. There I bought 2 pairs of shoes. An interesting conversation came up between my dad and the salesgirl at the store:

Dad: Sudah habis SPM ka?

Girl: Belom. PMR next year.

Dad: Ooo. Sekarang ini 14 tahun la

Girl: Yup.

Dad: Sama la dengan saya punya anak(me). You ambik la dia punya fone num berkenalan

Girl: ? 

Me: Heh. *matchmaking fail*=.=

 Next destination was a store in Tabuan-BDC-Jln Song area. Idk where it is. There I bought a new pair of jeans. So now I have around 6 pairs of jeans alone. Half of them I seldom use because its too big for me =.=. My aunt bought those pair of jeans in KL. She buys like 45% of my wardrobe from KL. She says clothes there are cheaper. Hey, aunty has a point there. So I don't have to worry about what to wear for a long time.

Finally we went for dinner at Kota Sentosa. We ate at the open air market because I wanted to eat satay. They make the best satay's there. Funny story, halfway through our meal it started to rain heavily and one of those thingy's that support the tents collapsed and we got all wet (outdoor dining+monsoon rain= drenched family). And you know what? we finished our meal before leaving! 

Update: I finally bought my DiGi at another store. This time I made sure I used the reload card. DiGi even threw in a free 2011 calendar. Cool! But still, I spent RM20 on RM10 worth of credit. DiGi people ,if you are reading this, please replace my RM10. XD

Just now I tried to calculate what's the answer for 1+1. Its 3 11 6 3 . Okay, I need a calculator. 

Ahh, thats more like it. Owh, its 2. Hehe :D

Heh. Im not THAT stupid. But this few weeks I fell dumb. Just now I was bored so I read my maths book. The first chapter was okay but everything after that was pure gibberish. I am amazed at myself for understanding it BEFORE. People say your brain cells die if you don't 'connect' them somehow. (Who said that? That host for Anmum Essential Tom Tom Bak said that.) Seriously, I think my brain cells are dwindling. I don't wanna be stupid. PMR is next year. I will need ALL of my brain cells if I wanna ace that test. If only there's a way to bring them back to life. Aha! maybe if I start to read they will spring back into action.*opens Dr Jekyl and Mr. Hyde, whatever its called* GAH, this is too hard. I cant take it. Too many words. The picture to word ratio is totally off. it should be words:picture = 100:1. HEY, I still got my mojo in maths after all! Okay, okay, calm down Jurleo. Chill braddah. I need to get my brain running full speed cause holiday's almost over. I MUST understand all this gibberish or I'm gonna be dead.

Okay, after an agonizing hour 10 mins of reading maths formula and understanding it ( I think my brain bled in the process XD) I got bored so I played with my calculator. Two of them. Identical twins. Don't ask me why I have 2 calculators of the same type. Its a sensitive subject.

Learning outcome: After an hour 10mins of learning and reading previous exercises made by student (me) himself, the student has gained nothing. In fact, the students brain bled right after opening his first book and reading the first page. This shows that none of his brain cells are active. That before he knocked his head on the door. The impact shook his brain so hard and that scared the living daylights out of the brain cells inhabiting it. That made them active and back to normal. In conclusion, student has regained normal brain capabilities. Student is able to recall formula of Pythagorus' Theorem, surface area of two dimensional shapes and lots of other stuffs.

Know who this guy is? No he's not anyone's grandfather. His name is Pachelbel and he created one of the most beautiful music pieces ever. Its called Canon in D major. Canon in C is a harder version of it. It is also the OST for a korean movie called My Sassy Girl. Idk what it is about. Back to this piece, the first time I heard it it was covered by Kurt Schneider. I thought to myself; "Hey, this is great!". So I began searching youtube for it. The original one almost made me cried. So lovely <3 . Now I hear it everyday. :)

1. An iPhone 4

Seriously Santa, if you reading this. I want an iPhone. If you're too busy to give me an iPhone you can just send me a check for RM2290. I don't want much, just the 16GB model. And yes, DiGi please. I dont want Maxis. Its too damn expensive for me to text ma friends.

2. An iPad

The only reason I want an iPad is because its so thin and I can play Farmville wherever I want whenever I want. That would be so cool. So so cool. Although it does nothing except surfing. Still cool! :D

3. A Macbook Air

Again, the only reason I want this is because its thin. I have a soft spot for thin gadgets. If its thin, its in. But I'm worried that I might break it. lol My first 4 wishes are all Apple's. If Steve Jobs was santa then all my wishes will come true. 

5. A trip to Universal Studios Singapore

Seriously, who doesn't want to go here. Its like I've died and gone to heaven. Fun, fun and more fun. Just look at it!

From the moment I first lay eyes on it... Cewah, like love story sudah. HAHA. The first time I saw this RM3000 piece of image capturing contraption Henry Golding was telling how good it is. And I am jealous because he gets to play with it and I don't.

This guy is awesome man I tell you. He can sing/play instuments and he is (insert bad word) creative. Did you see his videos on Youtube? Amazing.

9. World Peace

I know its kinda a hippie thing to say but seriously man, WORLD PEACE! WooHoo!

Yes, Santa. Everyone. All 6 billion people in this world. I know its too much but I know not everyone has food on the table every day and a roof over their head.

Know that guy? NO? He's Mike Tompkins. He makes music with his mouth. I mean he makes sounds of instruments with his mouth. For music people, its called acapella. (man why don't I just said that earlier lol). And you know what? He's AWESOME! I use the word 'awesome' a lot these days. This guy is AWESOME! How does he make those sounds I don't know. It sound like the real deal right? I admire his editing works too. I cant imagine sitting the whole day editing videos. But its worth it coz Mike Tompkins is cool and I am not. TeeHee ><

I want It Really BAD

This, my friend is an iPhone 4. An iPhone 4 is frikin awesome and cool. Its like everything I've ever wanted in a sleek black case. I would totally kill (figuratively of course) for this phone! XD  When I first saw this phone in the Maxis store I totally fell in love with it. Its just so beautiful. Too bad the price is beautiful too. The cheapest version costs around RM2290. Thats expensive for a phone. Apa lagi for poor people like me. We just can't afford that kind of $.

See that? That is the Nokia C6.It costs only a third of the iPhone's price. If I have 7A's in my PMR I wanna get either a C6 or an iPod Touch.*grin* I know it looks like a business phone and its thick but it has two of my favorite things, a keyboard and a touchscreen. I have to sacrifice thickness because this phone aint exactly miss skinny. Actually I prefer a phone that's less than 15mm thin. Better if less than 10mm.

This is more like it. Nokia X3-02 Touch and Type. Its only 9mm thin for gods sake! I like! :D I know its not as good as the iPhone but it will do for me. At least the X3 has wi-fi. Then I can online the whole day*grins from ear to ear*

Cityville!

Hey there my friends. Its been a while since my last post. I don't have any ideas on what to post. (Great, now I'm bored AND dumb). :D One of the reasons I didn't blog much recently is that I started playing this neat new game called Cityville. Its from the same guys who made Farmville which I am totally addicted to it (add me as your neighbour if you are on Farmville!).

Cityville is kinda like Farmville. Except instead of planting crops and doing all those farming stuffs, you get to be mayor of your own town and become a real estate agent. If real estate is your thang, this game is for you! So when I started playing this game I wasn't expecting much of it. I named my town "Jurleo's Town" and I regret every bit of it. Because that game turns out to be very addictive and I can't seem to change my towns name into anything cooler. I'm stuck with that plain old name =.= Curses you Cityville and your inability to rename towns!

In Cityville you can start your own businesses like bakeries, coffee shops, video stores and toy stores. The best part is that you can even name it! How cool is that! I named my bakery "La Boulangerie" which is The Bakery in french. I also named my toy store "iPlay Store". Cool huh? You can also visit friends to earn money, experience points and this thing called 'reputation'.

As with all games there are some downsides to it. First, anything you do requires energy and those energies run out FAST. Then there's the fact that all your neighbors have to be manually added one by one like Farmville. Needless to say, ANYTHING you do needs requests.
